THE INFORMATION ABOUT THE PROJECT FOR THE PARTICIPANTS in the year 2021

 

  1. General information

1.1. In the year 2021, the 5 groups with 11 persons in each will be created. In January 2021, we are recruiting for groups 1, 2, 3, in May 2021 we are recruiting for groups 4, 5.

1.2. Foreigners from the age of 16 staying in Poland can take part in the classes.

1.3. Each group will have 60 hours of Polish as a foreign language and 8 hours of human rights lectures.

1.4. Participation in the classes is free of charge. The participant declares participation in at least 80% of class hours (at least 48 hours of Polish language classes and at least 4 hours of human rights classes).

1.5. The listener can take part in the project only once.

1.6. Participation in the first class is compulsory. instead of the person who does not come to the first class, the project manager can enter a person from the reservation list.

 

  1. Recruitment

2.1. Recruitment for classes in 2021 will start on 4.01.2021 and will be continuous until places run out. You can apply only by completing and sending the appropriate form, which will be available on the website: www.polski.wh.uz.zgora.pl

2.2. After about 60 applications are received at the University of Zielona Góra, the recruitment will be closed. There will be no language proficiency test this year! Applicants determine their level of the Polish language on their own.

2.3. Announcement of test results: January 15, 2021, at the webpage www.polski.wh.uz.zgora.pl and by email.

2.4. Course enrollment will be determined according to the order in which applications are submitted and the number of places in a given group at a given level.

2.5. In the year 2021, there will be accepted 27 men and 28 women.

2.6. Each applicant receives 3 points. Additionally, the following people receive additional points for recruitment:

– declaration of disability (0.5 points) confirmed by an appropriate certificate,

– declaration of the professional activity (0.5 points) or declaration of searching for a job (0.5 points),

– a person has a Polish card (1 point)

– status of a person on the reservation list from 2020 (1 point).

– scholarship holders of the Polish Government under the program A. Kalinowski (2 points).

2.7. Persons not qualified to participate in courses in 2021 will be added to the reservation list. If a project participant resigns from participation in the course, at the stage allowing the introduction of a new person, people from the reserve list will be qualified for the course.

2.8. You should take the document confirming your identity with you for the test: ID card or passport or residence card. Participation in the first class is compulsory.

2.9. Only people without symptoms of infection: runny nose, cough, fever, not quarantined or isolated, can participate in the classes. They are obliged to wear a mask or a visor and to disinfect their hands at the entrance to the building.

 

  1. In the year 2021, the topics of the classes will be related to professions:

– in the food industry (gastronomy, distribution),

– automotive and transport,

– sewing,

– building,

– hairdressing and cosmetics.

This means that during classes general knowledge will be enriched with specialized vocabulary from a specific thematic area.

 

  1. Time and place of classes.

Classes will be held on Saturdays and Sundays for four hours (2×45 minutes + 2×45 minutes) with a coffee break (15 minutes) twice a week.

Place of classes: Zielona Góra, al. Wojska Polskiego 71a, Collegium Neofilologicum, room 219 (phonetic laboratory).

1.1. In the year 2020, the 5 groups with 11 persons in each will be created.

1.2. Foreigners from the age of 16 staying in Poland can take part in the classes.

1.3. Each group will have 60 hours of Polish as a foreign language and 8 hours of human rights lectures.

1.4. Participation in the classes is free of charge. The participant declares participation in at least 80% of class hours (at least 48 hours of Polish language classes and at least 4 hours of human rights classes).

1.5. The listener can take part in the project only once.

1.6. Participation in the first class is compulsory. Instead of the person who does not come to the first class, the project manager can enter a person from the reservation list.

2.1. Recruitment for classes in 2020 will start on 15.12.2019 and will be continuous until places run out. You can apply only by completing and sending the appropriate form, which will be available on the website: www.polski.wh.uz.zgora.pl

2.2. After receiving about 30 applications at the University, a test for the level of the Polish language, prepared by the teaching staff, will be held. The planned date of the first test: December 20, 2019, auditorium C, at 17.00, al. Wojska Polskiego 69, Zielona Góra.

2.3. You should take the document confirming your identity with you for the test: ID card or passport or residence card.

2.4. In exceptional cases, it is possible to individually agree on the date of the test with the candidate for the project, but the test must take place no later than two days before the date of announcing the admissions to the project.

2.5. Announcement of test results: January 7, 2020 at the webpage www.polski.wh.uz.zgora.pl and by email.

2.6. Admission to the course will be determined by a score based on bonus criteria according to point weights:

–  matching the test results with the declared group level (3 points – full matching, 2 – points one level difference, 1 point –  two levels difference),

– correspondence of the participant’s interests to the course profile (general course, professionally-oriented course) (1-0 points),

– sex (1.2 points for female, 1 point for male),

– declaration of disability (0.5 points) confirmed by an appropriate certificate,

– declaration of the professional activity (0.5 points) or declaration of searching for a job (0.5 points),

– a person has a Polish card (1 point)

– status of a person on the reservation list from 2019 (1 point).

2.7. In the year 2020, there will be accepted 27 women and 28 men.

THE INFORMATION ABOUT THE PROJECT FOR THE PARTICIPANTS in the year 2019

  1. The project is designed for three years and includes starting of 15 courses of Polish language and human rights for foreigners, in which at least 165 students will attend. This is a minimum of 55 students attending each year. Each year 5 groups of 11 people will be created as a minimum.
  2. In the classes of Polish language and human rights within the project Słucham, rozumiem, działam, foreigners who have reached 16 years old, who reside in the territory of Poland and who have applied for the participation in the project by the appropriate form on the Internet site: polski.wh.uz.zgora.pl can take part in the project.
  3. Each group will have 60 hours of Polish as a foreign language and 8 hours of human rights training.
  4. Participation is free of charge.
  5. The listener can take part in the project only once.
  6. Recruitment for classes in 2019 will start on 1/01/2019 and will be continued until the places are exhausted. You can only apply by the appropriate form from the site: polski.wh.uz.zgora.pl

After receiving about 30 applications at the University, a test for the level of the Polish language, prepared by the teaching staff, will be held. The planned date of the first test: January 12, 2019, hall С, 69 Wojska Polskiego Street, Zielona Góra.

  1. Admission on the course will be determined by the point score based on the award criteria by point weights:
  • – matching the test results with the declared group level (3-2-1 points),
  • – the correspondence of the participant’s interests to the course profile (general course, professionally oriented course) (1-0 points),
  • – sex (1.2 points for female, 1 point for male),
  • – declaration of disability (0.5 points) confirmed by an appropriate certificate,
  • – declaration of the professional activity (0.5 points) or declaration of searching for a job (0.5 points),
  • – a person has a Polish card (1 point)
  1. Persons who are not accepted to participate in the course fall into the reserve list. If the person refuses to participate in the course, at that time when a new person is introduced, the persons from the reserve list will be eligible for the course.
  2. Approximately every 4 months, regular tests will be conducted. Persons who are not accepted to participate in the course in this quarter can take part in the recruitment for the next course without re-passing the recruitment procedure, based on the results of the previous recruitment.
  3. In the first year of the project, classes will be general (not connected with professions). In 2020–2021, the subjects of the classes will be related to the professions in the food industry (gastronomy, distribution), automobile and transport, tailoring, construction, as well as hairdressing and beauty services.
  4. The courses will start every 4 months, according to the academic year. The schedule of classes and the pace of work will be adapted to the needs of the group. There are activities planned for four hours (2×45 minutes + 2×45 minutes) with a coffee break (15 minutes), once or twice a week.

60% of women and 40% of men can take part in the project.
